SIMPLE DESSERTS USING JUST A FEW INGREDIENTS

Cheesecake Jar

Blackberry “Cheesecake” Tarts

  • 12 frozen tart shells
  • 1 cup blackberries mashed plus more whole blackberries for garnish
  • 2 Tbsp mixed berry jam
  • 1 cup Plain TOFUTTI BETTER THAN CREAM CHEESE®
  • 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup

Preheat oven and bake tart shells according to package directions. Set aside.

In a bowl mash the blackberries with a fork, add the lemon juice, jam, maple syrup and stir until berries are mixed thoroughly. Spoon filling into baked tart shells TOFUTTI BETTER THAN CREAM CHEESE®.

Top with a whole blackberry. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

 

Cherry “Cheesecake” in a Jar

  • 2 cups plain TOFUTTI BETTER THAN CREAM CHEESE®
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ¼ coconut, almond or soy milk
  • Filling: 1 can cherry pie filling
  • Topping: 1 dark chocolate bar (for grated chocolate)

In a bowl of a stand mixer, add the ingredients for the cheesecake and whip until smooth and creamy. Using clean small Mason jars (or wine glasses), open the can of pie filling and spoon 1 Tbsp of pie filling into each glass, followed by cheese cake filling and alternate layers until glass is ¾ full. On a cutting board using a grater or knife, shred chocolate into shavings and garnish the dessert with chocolate shavings and serve.

Mango Lassi Dessert Cups

In a blender combine ingredients and puree until mixture is smooth and creamy. Serve cold with slices of fresh mango.
